What is VoIP?

VoIP is the acronym for "voice over the internet protocol." It uses different applications such as Messenger, WhatsApp, Skype etc. to allow people to make voice calls with other individuals. One can also use special telephones, which are voIP enabled to make calls. As its name suggests, this method of communication relies on the internet for establishing calls. What is PBX?

The PBX (private branch exchange) is a telephony system, used by big businesses to share calls within the network (local lines) as well as to external networks. It also boasts of a hunting feature. A single telephone number is routed through the PBX to different local handsets in the company. When somebody calls on that number, the PBX automatically lands the call to an unengaged telephone on the network. Support staff of all major companies uses this system to receive calls from their clients whenever they face any problems, or want other information.

The Ethernet is a structure that connects several computers to form a LAN (local area network). It has protocols that control the flow of information to prevent two or more systems to transmit simultaneously.


What is WiFi?

The WiFi (wireless fidelity) is a system that allows smartphones, computers, and other similar devices to connect with each other within a specific area, or to connect to the internet. The cable from the internet service provider is inserted inside the Ethernet port of a WiFi router, which transmits signals, allowing WiFi enabled devices to handshake and connect with the router and via it to the internet.
